The Year in Review

Well another year has passed and the boys in TimeGiant couldn't be happier with the success that 2013 had to offer.  We had a jam packed year filled with heavy touring, the release of our brand new album "A Night To Remember, our first music video with "I Am The Fire", the spread of our new single's across campus radio throughout Canada, and some MASSIVE opening gigs in Canada and the U.S.A.  We had the very unique opportunity of working with some incredible musicians, producers, engineers, and song-writers, all while expanding our touring repertoire and meeting some of the greatest fans that North-America has to offer.

TimeGiant spent the early months of 2013 writing and recording tracks for "A Night To Remember" and worked alongside renowned producers including Jon Drew (Alexisonfire, Arkells, Tokyo Police Club) and Treble Charger front-man Greig Nori.  Nori produced massive hit albums for Treble Charger, Sum 41, Marianna's Trench and many others.  His work on the new TimeGiant record was impeccable and our subsequent success following the albums release proved it.

TimeGiant toured heavily playing many Summer festivals including Mississauga Waterfront Festival, Owen Sound Rib Fest, Port Colborne Canal Days with The Tea Party, and a personal favourite of the band's, opening for Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience in front of 8000 screaming fans in Lockport, New York.  Jason Bonham, son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer Jon Bonham, performed many of his dad's hits to a boisterous crowd, and even took the time to share tricks of the trade with our own TimeGiant drummer Charlie McKittrick.

TimeGiant performed at WekFest 2013, a private party raising money for Seeds of Hope foundation which helps underprivileged children reach their full potential through fun and enriching activities.  We had the surreal experience of opening for a star-studded line-up including Finger Eleven and Snoop Lion (aka Snoop Dogg), while soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the amenities of such a high profile gig.

Amongst other incredible performances, TimeGiant toured with Crash Karma (Members of Our Lady Peace, The Tea Party, and I Mother Earth), opened for Treble Charger, U.S.S, The Tea Party, My Darkest Days, Head of the Herd, and so many other great bands.  Our experiences in 2013 were unforgettable and TimeGiant will be ending off 2013 with a bang and starting the new year off right!  This New Year's Eve, TimeGiant will be direct support, opening for Platinum recording artists, Headstones.  Headstones have released 6 albums since 1993 including one certified Canadian Platinum and two certified Canadian Gold.  We will be heading to the U.S.A for this massive New Year's Eve celebration with Headstones at Rapid's Theatre, in Niagara Falls, New York.  Tickets to the show are available here: HEADSTONES and TimeGiant Tickets

VIP tickets are already sold out, but a limited number of general admission tickets are still available!

2013 has been an uplifting experience for this group of long-haired, rock n' roll road warriors, and we can't properly express our gratitude to each and every one of you who helped TimeGiant accomplish so much in this past year.  We hope to see many of your faces at the New Year's Eve extravaganza, and TimeGiant can't wait to move forward even faster in 2014.  The time is now for a rock n' roll takeover of the music industry, and TimeGiant is standing strong at the helm, ready for WAR!  So thank you again, and remember to watch for your boys in TimeGiant as we cruise into a city near you with guns blazing!!!  2014, TimeGiant is coming for you!  Turn it up... LOUD!
